** December, 17th: IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT !

* Alrighty, Christmas is coming towards us but, unfortunately, it seems like Santa forgot me this year...why ? Well, because I'm gonna have to stop doing what I enjoy the most: being the webmaster of this site... Yeah, you heard me. Beth has officially asked me to stop doing the site, so, and until further notice (or a miracle), it won't be updated anymore...but it will remain open, so you guys can keep check the Discography section, for example.

It has been a pleasure to be in charge of this site throughout the whole year, I wanna thank you all who visited it and appreciated my work. Maybe someday, I'll be back here. Meanwhile, keep listening to Beth's music, no matter what happens, she deserves and needs your support...

* 200,000 PLAYS!!!: We've crossed the 200,000 plays mark on mp3.com, after only one year on the site! 219,552 people have listened to our music since we first posted the mp3s! Thank you so much to all who have taken the time to listen and download!

* THE FINAL COUNTDOWN: 'The Touch" has reached the Final Countdown in garageband.com's race for a $250,000 recording contract! Current Ranking: #11

* And now for the big surprise !!!! Here's a real audio of a rare Beth song called "It's Not Me", only available on a earlier release. This is a "dance" song and you won't find it anywhere else !! * I won't update the site for a month because I'm going on vacation in California to see Beth, and I'll have a lot of stuff to tell you when I get back, because I'm gonna see 3 of her shows, yeah !!!!! So see you in a month guys !

* IN THE STUDIO: We've been in the studio for a week or so now, working on some new songs for you all...as soon as we get a few done, we'll post them here, for your enjoyment...and also for you to vote for your favorite! We want to know what YOU think, so we know which song to release to radio first! Keep chcking back here, we hope to have them up by late June!

* GODIN GUITARS: Travis has been recognized by Godin Guitars for playing and recording almost every model they make. If you've ever caught one of our live shows, you've noticed more than one guitar sound coming from the stage, even though we only have one guitarist. Thanks to Godin for making such great instruments, and for listing Travis on the website. It was a great birthday gift for him...

* GIRLS ROCK! SHOWCASE: The Girls Rock Showcase was GREAT! Thanks to everyone who came out to the show! And I think we can speak for everyone there when we say that EVERYONE involved put on a great show! We've still got some t-shirts (regular & baby-doll), in case you didn't get one there (or if you just want to look like you were there). Email us for info on how to get yours.

* TV APPEARANCE Before Beth's show at the Fox & Goose in Sacramento, she made an appearance on a Sacramento television station, playing live on the air for a full hour! We'll let you know as soon as we know the schedule of re-runs, and hopefully, we'll be able to put some clips on here for you to download!

* Beth and I (and some friends of mine) are still working on the French tour that should take place in October, stay tuned for more infos soon !!

** May, 8th:

* Beth has announced that she will be playing the Girls Rock! Showcase on May 27th in Campbell, CA, at the Gaslighter Theater. Showcasing the Bay Area's best female fronted bands, the lineup includes Beth, Hope Child, Rebecca Riots, Rogue Star, & Daisy Head. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. Get them now, before it sells out!!! (from the Official Site)

* 'I Still Belong To You' has broken into the top 100 tracks on garageband.com's race for a $250,000 recording contract! It's in the Top 10 of the genre! Also, riding right behind it is 'The Touch,' which is just outside the top 100! (from the Official Site)

* The French mini-tour that I was telling you about has been delayed, for some reasons (lack of time, between others). But just delayed ! it's gonna happen later in the year !

** April, 22nd:

* A new experience of Beth's life in the "Diary" section, go check it out now !!!

* I've re-done all the audio excerpts in the "Albums" section: the excerpts are now longer than before !!

* Beth and I are working on something for the site, something exclusive than you're not gonna be able to find anywhere else !!

* We're also working on the possibility for her to come to France for a mini-tour. More news soon...

** April, 9th 2001:

* Beth has officially passed the 100,000 mark on mp3.com! Over 100,000 people have listened to her music on the site in less than ONE YEAR!!! (from the Official Site)

* Beth has played 2 news songs at the "Red Devil Show": "Breakfast in San Francisco" and "April Fools". According to Mattsonic (thanks man !), who gave me this news, "Breakfast in San Francisco" has "single" written all over it...

* GREAT NEWS: Beth and I are starting a new section on this website, it's called "Beth's Diary". In this brand new section, you'll be able to read some notes and thoughts about Beth's shows, from Beth herself !! It's not open yet but I'll open it in the next few days...don't miss it !!!!!!!

** March, 27th 2001:

* "I Still Belong To You" is the Track Of The Day (March, 17th) at garageband.com, due to the enthusiastic reviews it has been receiving. (from the Official Site)

* Beth is still touring, she was in Arizona last week.

As you can see, there aren't hot news about Beth right now. What I can say is I'm about to contact French radio stations about her, to ask them if they may be interested in playing her songs. And hopefully, they will and Beth might be able to come and do a show in France !!! To be continued...

** February, 8th 2001

* Then, Beth is currently recording a new studio CD produced by Paul Wright, she is currently looking for label support for this up and coming studio release. Isn't it great or what ?!!! I hope she's gonna find a label soon !

* She is currently doing very well on MP3.com getting as much as 8000 downloads a month !!

* She is also featured on the front page of the Neumann website for her use of their KMS105 performance vocal mic on the new "Beth Waters Live" CD.

* On her recent tour to Los Angeles, she played in Santa Barbara, San Diego, Orange County and Burbank.

She played shows with Trespassers William and Jay Buchannan, which, as Beth says "both of whom are excellent".

These are all the news for today guys, I'll update the site as often as possible, when Beth sends me news, they'll be here right away !
